Done wrong (with tweezers, pliers or superglue), you can seize the wafers and turn a $150 job into a $500 ignition replacement.

Cutting a fresh key from a broken original

If you still have both halves, we can decode the cuts and produce a working key even without the vehicle's code. If the broken half is unusable, we pull the code from the VIN and cut a new blade to factory spec, then program the transponder or fob to your vehicle.
