Break-in and burglary damage repair

After a break-in the door frame is usually splintered around the strike, and the deadbolt or latch has been forced through the jamb. We arrive same-day, secure the opening with new strike plates and reinforced wraps, replace or repair the deadbolt, and rebuild the frame so it locks correctly again. We provide a written invoice with photos for your insurance carrier — most homeowners and business policies reimburse the full repair.

Closers, hinges and hardware

Sagging doors, doors that will not stay closed, doors that slam and doors that leak oil down the frame are almost always a closer or hinge issue. We replace failed LCN, Norton, Sargent and Dorma closers, swap worn commercial hinges (including continuous geared hinges on high-traffic doors) and reinstall pivot hardware on aluminum storefronts.

For salt-corroded coastal properties we spec brass, bronze or PVD-coated hardware that survives Treasure Coast air far longer than standard zinc-alloy hinges and closers.

Fire doors and ADA compliance

Fire-rated doors must self-close, self-latch and carry an intact label per NFPA 80. Any modification — including drilling for a new lock, adding a peephole, or replacing a closer with a non-rated unit — can void the rating. We service fire doors correctly and document each repair for your annual inspection. ADA operating force (under 5 lbf on interior doors) is checked on every service call.
