Alarm Lock Trilogy Commercial Keypad Installation on US-1
Alarm Lock Trilogy DL2700 commercial keypad lever installed on a US-1 storefront — up to 100 unique user codes, no wiring, no monthly fees.

A US-1 commercial tenant needed real access control for a rear service door but did not want to run wire, add a network panel or sign up for a monthly software subscription. The right answer is an Alarm Lock Trilogy DL2700 — a battery-powered standalone commercial keypad lever that behaves like a full access-control system on a single door.
The Trilogy platform is the go-to for small commercial doors on the Treasure Coast for a reason. It's Grade 1 heavy-duty, stores up to 100 unique user codes, and supports scheduled access windows so a cleaning crew's code only works on the days they should be there. When staff turnover happens, the manager deletes that single PIN at the lock in seconds — no lock change, no locksmith visit, no rekey.
Installation involved removing the existing mechanical lever, verifying the door prep against the Trilogy template, and dressing the crossbore and edge bore where the builder's prep didn't quite match spec. We mounted the chassis, aligned the strike so the latch centered cleanly in the pocket, confirmed the deadlatch pin engaged the strike face (this defeats the classic loiding attack against commercial doors), and programmed the master, manager and initial user codes on the spot.
For a US-1 location, we specified the weatherized finish — this stretch of the corridor takes salt spray from the Indian River Lagoon side and a keypad that isn't sealed against that environment corrodes fast. Batteries on the DL2700 typically last 2–3 years under normal commercial traffic; we set the low-battery indicator behavior so the tenant gets a clean warning before anything degrades.
The tenant now runs code-based access on a door that used to circulate physical keys, can revoke any single user in seconds, and doesn't pay a monthly fee for the privilege. For a single-door commercial application this remains the cleanest install on the market, and it's the same platform we use for medical offices, storefronts and light-industrial back doors from Fort Pierce to Stuart.
